![]() With stage 4 restrictions coming into place in Victoria it's important to remember to stay active and stimulate your mind. Now is the perfect time to find an excuse to start your journey to a healthy lifestyle! Break out your mums old 'Jazzercise' workout videos and set aside 30 mins a day to get in a workout that benefits both the body and the mind. Your workout doesn't have to be as intense as Dwayne Johnson's crazy routine (you could start with just simple jumping jacks and sit-ups and work your way up). In fact I bet that's how he started his huge journey into fitness, by starting small and building up bit by bit. As for mental stimulation, a good step forward is to read a book, start a puzzle or even start a 'quarantine journal' and write down your thoughts and reflect on them. If you can't do any of that then going for a walk around the block or down the street is a perfect way to clear your mind and stay active :) What really matters is that you are willing to put effort into yourself and into improving your everyday well-being! #spinksindustries |
